Vanilla Frosting

Makes 1 cup 

Ingredients
1/2 cup margarine, softened
1/2 cup shortening
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
1-2 teaspoon milk


1. In a large bowl with an electric mixer, cream together the margarine and shortening.
2. Beat in the vanilla extract.
3. Slowly beat in the confectioners' sugar in 1/2 cup intervals adding a little bit of milk whenever the frosting is too thick
4. Continue mixing on high speed for about 3-7 minutes until the frosting is light and fluffy.
